Issue with before/after inline display in editor

There is a display: block applied on inner content of Cwicly’s headings and paragraphs, which is interfering with the standard inline before/after display inside the editor:


Is there a reason for this?

This fix doesn’t seem to hurt:

I have been able to reproduce this error on my end, and can confirm it is a bug.
We’ll be sure to have this fixed as soon as possible.

Thanks for your patience on this one.

With 1.4, and for various reasons, we decided to override Gutenberg’s default highlighting process with a solution that we believe is least intrusive. This in turn allowed us to remove the once necessary display:block; and fix this issue.
