Copy paste issue

Hi,

since Wordpress 6.2.3 I’m experiencing an issue, if Cwicly is activated: When I copy/paste text from word or other sources into the Gutenberg editor, it puts all the content in one Paragraph before. It deletes all the

tags in HTML. Before it used to generate one block per paragraph. If I set the default block to Cwicly’s paragraph, it works, but I prefer the Wordpress paragraph block as standard for various reasons.

Is there a way resolve this? The problem also occures on fresh installations, so I assume it’s not related to other plugins but something in Cwicly changed. If I disable Cwicly, copy-pasting text works fine.

I’ve noticed this as well. Thought it was a change with Gutenberg - didn’t realize it was possibly Cwicly related.

It’s why I rolled back to WP 6.2.2 for now, here it still works. But it is not a long-term solution.

Hi,

Thanks so much for the report.

It seems like Gutenberg is not processing their transforms functions properly.
We will have a fix in the next update.

Best regards,
Johnny

Kindly let me know if this is the case on your end.

Thank you in advance.
