Rest assured, we are already aware of the current limitation of ACF fields within a frontend rendering Terms query.
We’ll add this possibility as soon as possible.

Also in the attributes I can’t specify a dynamic field. It does not see the query context.

Is there any workaround for now? Can I create a php and output my image?

I was hoping to use Cwicly in this project, but the taxonomy selection page is primary and it’s important to me that it works.

Please consider also the visibility conditions (in combination with the acf fields) with frontend rendering.
