Wordpress install from scratch: ghost templates

Description:

After Wordpress install online (@o2switch) from scratch, I activated Cwicly.
In the Cwicly Themer > Templates, I found templates INDEX, INDEX_2, INDEX_3.
These two last ones were created in a previous local webserver site. The three ones were empty.

I did the process twice and got the same behavior.

Environment info

  • WordPress version: 6.0
  • Gutenberg Plugin version: not installed
  • Cwicly Plugin version: 1.1.0.5
  • Cwicly Theme version:1.0.3

Hi there @weedor,

This seems rather unusual.
Could you possibly post a screenshot of the Site Editor Template?
Thank you very much.

Here is the screenshot.

Both times, I deleted the repertories: wp-admin, wp-content and wp-includes.
Copied Wordpress (extracting files), deleted all the tabs in database and reinstalled Wordpress from scratch.

Here is my local install (on USBWebserver):

PS: I have never installed Cwicly at o2switch before.

How did you create the templates Index_2 and Index_3 on your previous install?
If you are using a child theme with these templates created as HTML files, then it is normal they will appear on the installation whether old or new.

oups! That is my bad! I am so dump!
You are right. This because of my child theme that I completely forgot.
I created a repertory template with the 3 templates.
I am confused!!!

Best regards,
Bruno
