Wordpress Developer with Cwicly experience

Hi,

We are building our team and are looking for one or more WordPress Developers to join us in producing high quality work for our clients.

Who you are:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress development, with specific experience using Cwicly and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).

As much of the role will involve translating designs from 2d images or interactive wireframes (e.g. from tools such as Photoshop or Figma), having an eye for good designs is a must and having an understanding of design strategies and best practices will be very beneficial.

Familiarity with WooCommerce is a significant advantage, as many of our projects involve e-commerce functionality.

Experience with backend development in PHP or other languages and experience developing WordPress plugins is also desirable but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress websites using Cwicly and ACF.
  • Integrate and optimise WooCommerce for e-commerce projects.
  • Collaborate with our design team and other frontend and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of custom themes and plugins.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, performance, and security.
  • Implement responsive and user-friendly designs that meet our clients’ needs.
  • Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and overall performance.

Duration and rate:

The role can be part-time or full-time as long as availability is agreed up front.

Rates are competitive and based on your experience level and availability.

If you want to be part of a growing team of likeminded people committed to delivering high quality creative results and you are eager to learn and progress then feel free to privately message us to discuss further.

Thank you to all of you that have showed interest, the Cwicly community is full of great people and we appreciate everyone that has contacted us so far.

We are currently speaking to several people and want to give anyone else that hasn’t reached out to us yet a final opportunity to have your shot at joining our team in 2024.

We are planning to use Cwicly to its full potential and welcome creative and innovative ideas and solutions, in addition to reliable consistency, so now is the time to take the next step.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Cwicly jobs, interesting. Who is “we”? Louis and team? Thanks.

Louis kindly added the Jobs category, so people can use it to network and connect around Cwicly related work, which as Cwicly becomes more and more popular, there will likely be increasingly more demand for.

We are Strange Tech, a creative tech agency.

Probably because I (Dan) am active on the discourse and use the pronoun “we” in reference to our team, people sometimes assume I am representing Cwicly in some way.

Just to be 100% clear, we have no affiliation with Cwicly, we simply appreciate the quality of it as a product, utilise it for our web projects and make contributions to help improve it.

The better Cwicly becomes the better it is for all of its users and Strange Tech are prominent users of Cwicly, so it is a straightforward Win-Win.
