Variable font weight issue with local font sets

Hi,

I have an issue with custom variable fonts:

  • Using Google fonts, I have the font weights I can see on Google fonts website.
  • Using Mathias Altmann Custom fonts script, same result.
  • Using Cwicly local font sets, it seems I don’t have all the font weights.

Thanks for the report.

It seems you’re not using the Cwicly Font Manager to import the Google Font directly? You can download and install them in one click, with all variable settings applied automatically → Font Manager - Documentation

If you prefer going the manual way, have you made sure to specify that your font weight is variable → Font Manager - Documentation

OMG I wasn’t even aware of that font manager!!!
Working like a charm now :slight_smile:

But is font sets tab in backend Cwicly settings page deprecated?
