On the latest version of Cwicly, when setting a modal animation, I’m unable to select the first animation called “fade in” since upon selection the field becomes unset.

Thanks for the report.
The Fade in option is enabled by default and should not be available in the dropdown selection.
We’ll make sure to remove it in the next update.
