Test before update to WP 6.7

I just updated our staging site to 6.7 to test the compatibility of Cwicly, and we are having an issue. Editor content is overlapping the metaboxes, so far that is the only problem we are encountering. No noticeable changes on the front end.

Hopefully Louis will be back soon and be able to fix it.

Hi UMG,

This is caused by the following change in WP 6.7:

https://wordpress.org/news/2024/10/wordpress-6-7-beta-1/

It may not resolve the issue fully, I am wondering if toggling the Force Iframe setting in the Cwicly Role Editor makes any difference.

Yay… clwicly was not tested and updated accordingly? Surprising?

I read the changelog and noticed that change, so I figured that’s what was causing the issue.

I did turn on the force iframe settings in the Role Editor and fixes the overlap, but that introduces a couple of other problems. Such as the handle bars on the editor to resize the editor into other break points, and if you have custom fields and scroll all the way down then the custom fields get anchor into the bottom of the page as you scroll back up but they are not anchor unless you scroll to the bottom first.

Hopefully Louis will be back soon to check some of those issues.

@michelyweb,

6.7 was released yesterday and @Louis mentioned he has been moving to a different country and there would be a small delay in getting the next release ready.

I don’t think he could have done much more given the circumstances and I’m sure he will release a new version to address this when he can.
