In themer I have set up a single post template for a cpt.
All working perfect, but looking ahead to next year, I would like to have the option to give the visitor the option to select between years, see screenshot.
In the cpt events, I setup an extra custom year field, that field gets and saves the ‘Y’ from the the event_date_end. So I could already filter the queries by a year field.
I already tested this with tabs, but that will query all years at once. Would like to use independent templates to avoid heavy load and show standard the current year.
Anyone can give me an insight to accomplish this?
