The field to exclude something doesn’t work, I can’t exclude the categories, in general, nor a category in particular (here “reportage photo”)
On front, they should have an ACF photo as background and they don’t.

There might be an issue with retrieving the terms in the Taxonomy Terms block, we are working on it currently. Apologies for the inconvenience.
As for the ACF Field background, please make sure you set Term as the Location (since you are querying the taxonomy term).
Any updates? Just realized the taxonomy terms block isn’t really doing what I expect.

This has been working for quite some time. The latest update did reinstate Taxonomies but Terms have been available in the Exclude field since this report.
Or is there something else missing?
Moving this to fixed as ACF fields as well as exclusion work as expected.
