Having a preview setting for a template is sometimes a necessity, for example when I want to render some ACF.
But when I reload the template ‘s page or when I quit it, I loose this preview and have to go back to the settings.
Isn’t it possible to registered it once for all?, or until I want to change it.
Indeed, you are experiencing the default behaviour which can be disturbing if working repeatedly with the same data.
An option to keep the preview setting persistent is a nice suggestion!
