It looks like there are 2 popups one on top of the other. The first slides away, but the second one remains…
On desktop and Android everything works just fine.

Great start, can you show your popup settings and your button action , this may help isolate the specific issue in the context of your configuration.

I had a iubenda newsletter popup, that apparently was interacting somehow. As soon as I removed it, the modal closes no problem.
Go figure…
