Mismatch between template and what I see in the editor

Hi

I can’t wrap my head around this (probably basic) issue:
I have set a template I am using for my blogs, but when I use it I cannot see the set parameters in my editors. Once published or in a preview they show correct. Which is fairly annoying. Not much for the colors but all the rest.

Hi @Paolo,

When editing a post, you won’t see the template displayed in the editor, that only displays in the front-end, which is not a Cwicly behaviour, this is just the way templates currently work with WordPress FSE.

To help improve the editing experience for posts, you can style how it will appear when editing by applying styles to the post content block (either directly or via global classes) as well as targeting blocks within it using relative styles.

This allows you to customise each post types editing experience individually to reflect the front-end display.
