I added a vertical “menu” block and set the icon on the items list to after, but the icons aren’t showing up in the frontend or editor.
I have checked on more than one Cwicly 1.4.2 instance I have, and the result is the same. I can’t confirm if this issue was in version 1.4.1.8 since we just added it and don’t have access to earlier Cwicly versions.
I will be happy to provide more info if needed. There are no console errors.
I couldn’t replicate the issue you described.
The icons are more precisely dropdown icons, and will only show on menu items that contain children. Is this not the case for you?
@Louis Thanks for taking the time and pardon me for wasting it. My thought was that functionality was to add an icon.
I am trying to create a vertical list based on a WordPress menu that has an icon after each item. How can I best achieve this? I tried using the “list” block, but it does not support dynamic data AND menus are not supported in dynamic data anyway.
I have changed this post’s category to general as it is not a bug.
No problem at all, on the contrary.
In fact, this is something that is lacking in our current implementation although available in the Nav block (which has a vertical menu but within a modal).
Currently, I don’t have a good recommendation for adding icons to each dynamic menu items within the Menu block as it would require extra logic which isn’t included…
