Link Action For Fax

Hi there,

I would like to have the option href="fax:" as an addition to the already existing actions for linking contact actions.

I still use the manual method for fax, which you can find here: Mailto: from query/repeater

why would you use “fax”? What is it useful for?
I mean email and tel is obvious because the visitor can click the element and either the phone or mail client opens but what should happen when I click on an fax element?

Open the fax client?

thank you very much for your comments.

I have always created fax hrefs as my clients have specifically requested them… good to know that they are obsolete. :joy:

Will use tel in future… have to go and change some hrefs :sweat_smile:
