Inherited values are buggy

Lots of inherited values do not display correctly (or at all) throughout breakpoints.

With the Tailwind breakpoints (mobile first), inherited values work fine in our test environment and overriding also works (also tested with Margin, per your demo).

Seems like there must be some specific factor (config or other factor) that is causing this in your demo environment.

Thanks for checking on your side, @StrangeTech.
I do not have TW enabled though, so it’s probably a different scenario, as values do work differently there.

Just confirming, we don’t have Tailwind or Tailwind mode enabled, only the mobile first breakpoints.

Oh, got you.
I’m not talking about mobile first and might have expressed myself somewhat misleadingly. I deleted that part, as it’s actually not related to the actual issue.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for pointing it out. My bad.

Hello @Marius,

Thanks for the report.

I can confirm issues with inherited values. We can hopefully have a fix for this in the next update.

Hello @Marius,

Thanks for the report once again.

This should be addressed in 1.4.2-beta5.

Hey @Louis.

Thank you! I can confirm that most of the errors are gone.
2-3 points though.

Color fields don’t work in general:

These items (shadows, transitions, etc.) disappear:

Is this intended? I think it shouldn’t work that way.

Same for Backdrop.
