In new Nav-Block: linking to CPT not possible

Description:

Linking custom post types in the new Nav-Block is not possible. For example I have this link to my CPT Doctors: my-domain.com/doctor/dr-name when I use it in the Nav-Block it gives me in the frontend only my main domain my-domain.com.
Also; when I navigate to any page the url of the current page I’m on gets attached to the url instead of the url to my CPT. When I’m on my about page for example the URL says: my-domain.com/about instead of my-domain.com/doctor/dr-name.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions:

  1. Create a CPT
  2. Create a header with a Nav-Block
  3. Link to one of your CPT entries with a Nav Link or a Dropdown Menu
  4. Check what URL is being used in the frontend

Hi @Jonas,

Thank you for taking the time to report this!

I can confirm this is a bug.

The error seems to be caused by a faulty process because of our dynamic link retrieval.
To prevent encountering this problem, I recommend manually adding your CPT link by directly pasting it into the designated field and pressing enter.

Please bear with us while we find a fix for this.
Apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi @Araminta,

thanks for the workaround – didn’t notice it works like this. So no worries

Hi @Jonas,

This should now be fixed with 1.2.9.7.1.
Please let me know if this is the case on your end.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi @Araminta,

unfortunately this does not seem to be fixed. Linking CPTs still does not work.
In case you can’t reproduce the issue I provide you with a screen recording tomorrow.

After one of the recent updates it works now. Thanks!
