I think you can sync quite a few instances.
Maybe you can get some useful hints from here.
Can’t say for sure but my first impression is once again - no custom code needed.
Just connecting stuff and throwing in some Relative Styling rules.
But you would need to rebuild the hexagon with a slider in this case…
