Editor Role destroys CSS when saving

Description:

When a user with the WP “Editor” role saves a post or page the CSS is destroyed.
I have to login as an administrator user and save any post or page then everything is okay again.

This happens no matter if i use Cwicly Role Editor for the “Editor” Role or not. I even copied the Administrator permissions to the Editor Role in the Role Editor. Still the same problem.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions:

  1. Login as a user with role “editor”.
  2. Open a blog post
  3. Save the blog post
  4. View the blog post in frontend or any other page: The CSS is defective.

  • Cwicly Plugin version: 1.4.1.3

Hello @michelyweb,

Thanks for the report and my apologies for the inconvenience you’re experiencing.

I took a quick look at your installation with the information you provided to the support team.

I can confirm there is an issue with custom Tailwind configurations and roles other than “Administrator” when saving posts/pages which result in some Tailwind classes to not be generated on the frontend.

We’ll have a fix for this in the next update.

Thanks for your patience.

Cheers,
