When I duplicate the div or parts of it all settings are lost. What is happening here?
Edit dashboard and preview look correct but live version is messed up.

Maybe a browser caching issue on your end, or you have resolved it already?

Correct. Because I rebuilt the lower 2 divs from scratch. Duplicating was impossible.
