Do you set any conditions/priority on the Index template?

And does the Index template still show up on the posts page for you if you have one other template that is set to Show If > All?

No, it seems it is actually overriden by Show if / All, but I use another condition: Show if / Singular / All.

But then I made some tests and you’re right, I can’t seem to override the Show if / All condition, even with priorities!
