Custom post date in query with frontend rendering turned on not showing

Hey,

i think I discovered a small bug.

I want to use a custom post date in my query templates (to be exact this format: d.m.Y). If frontend rendering is turned off, the post date displays fine. But in instances where frontend rendering needs to be turned on (filtering), the post date field stays blank.

And as a small feature request at the end: it would be great if the formats d.m.y and d.m.Y were selectable by default. :slightly_smiling_face:

Kind regards
Marco

Hi @MarcovB,

Thank you for taking the time to report this!

I have been able to reproduce this error on my end, and can confirm it is a bug.
This seems to happen to all custom post date formats with frontend rendering enabled.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

As for your feature request, I don’t see why not
I’ll be sure to open a separate feature request, so the team and I can keep a track of it.

Hey Araminta,

thank you for the fast response!

It’s no inconvenience at all. :relieved:

Great, it’s a small improvement but worth implementing. I think most countries in europe prefer this format. :slightly_smiling_face:
