I was looking, but the functionality doesn’t seem to be there.
What I’m looking for is an option in the show/hide of the templates in Themer to include a Show if → Singular → Pages → Has Parent (or something similar).
Would really simplify things for me, instead of specifying the pages individually, which wouldn’t be applied automatically to new pages.
Did I miss it somewhere?

You should be able to achieve this with the “direct child of” parameter:

It works, but I have to specify individual parent pages.
This might fall into the realm of a feature request.
I would prefer just a catch-all “Is a Child Page” or “Has Parent Page” option. Which would apply to all child pages.
