I created a component folder called “folder”.
This made the Quick Inserter disappear.
After page refresh, it reappears, but when trying to access components, same happens.
This is the error I get when clicking the button:
I tried to reproduce it on a cwicly.com test drive with all default settings but no issue there.

The auto generated color is missing a character. Strange this wasn’t caught by the checks in place.
I have forwarded it to the dev team as a priority.
As a temporary solution if you are comfortable with editing the database, you can find the folders option under cwicly_components_folders and add the missing character.

I fixed it for myself now, as I expected this to happen with an update (per your initial answer, but I might got you wrong there).
Everything works as expected on my side - thanks for all the efforts!
In case you received reports from other users in that regard, this might make sense.
This has been successfully implemented with 1.3.0.5
Tested by restoring a backup with 1.3.0.2, the version where the issue already has occurred on my side.
