Cannot modify component with the ID property

Description:

When trying to add an ID to a div inside a component, assuming the procedure is the same as adding a class, I can’t get the option to connect the ID property, only class. But I need to modify this for anchor scrolling so it has to be the ID.

Environment info

  • WordPress version: 6.3.1
  • Cwicly Plugin version: 1.3

ETA - Just figured out where I’m supposed to add the ID. I wish the documentation was a bit more robust explaining the correct use of every property, so I don’t have to either scroll through two hours of video that may or may not contain the info, or play with every setting until something works.

When searching the documentation for Component ID this morning the only result that came up was this: Components - Documentation. Glad to see now the search returns more information.

I recommend you take a look at the sidebar when exploring the docs.
You will notice this page was modified more than 2 days ago. The search function is not ideal.
