<br /> tags showing in canvas for multiline textarea ACF field

Description:

When adding a multiline textarea ACF Field and for the “New Lines” setting selecting the “Automatically add <br>” option displays the <br /> tags in the editor canvas when adding the field using the dynamic inserter.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions:

Please write the steps needed to reproduce the bug.

  1. Add a multiline Textarea ACF field
  2. For the New Lines option, select “Automatically add <br>”
  3. Display the field using the dynamic inserter within a post
  4. Note that the <br /> tags are visible in the editor canvas
  5. Preview the field on the frontend
  6. Note that the field displays correctly with wrapped lines
