Description:
After the recent update gradient overlays don’t work anymore. The regular overlay works fine though.
Step-by-step reproduction instructions:
- Create a section with a background image
- Select an overlay color and check that it works as expected
- now select a gradient overlay – the overlay should not appear

For me, overlays are working on the backend but not on the front end. It seems to be taking a higher z index inside the section.
Workaround: Applying the z index of 1 to child elements inside the section is working for me.

Hello @yogi,
Can you try setting the position to relative on the block that contains the overlay?
Thanks.

Hi @Louis
Thanks for the revert.
I tried with the position relative but it does not work.
Not an urgent thing as I am able to get the desired result via the workaround.
