We are only using Tailwind on one site, based on the new global styles integration we have started testing again.
We are trying pasting from Tailwind output and this works well, one limitation we encountered again (that has also been mentioned on the discourse at least once) is that you cannot add a background image while in Tailwind mode.
Even if the styles themselves are not set using Tailwind, it will still be useful to be able to not have to switch between modes to do this.

Even though users have started asking for it, things should not be mixed up and if this is made available, please follow one of the native paths.
Yes, it is important to make this available in the future as I think a builder should take advantage of its GUI. But it should be approached carefully.
Status quo:
Even though I won’t be using Tailwind for the most part as of now, and would settle for the native way, this is an important part of making Tailwind as accessible as possible. Especially if the team itself relies exclusively on TW.
The idea behind it is that the average user doesn’t have to know Tailwind at all, but in the end this idea might fail because of such little things.
It just should not be the reason why users decide against TW.
oh thank you, i was wondering how to add a bg image! Glad there is a solution even if i have to temporary switch modes. : )
