You might ask “why not create a component?”, but this isn’t block specific. I could apply this to a DIV, a Container, a Button, pretty much whatever block or circumstance that might benefit from these particular properties.

One way that Shells are different to Components, is that for a given block you can apply multiple shells, thereby combining reusable features together within the block.
