Unable to specify unit for size of animated trigger of Nav block modal

Description:

When editing the Nav block modals animated trigger settings, there is no way to specify a unit for the size.

Step-by-step reproduction instructions:

  1. Open the Post Editor/Site Editor
  2. Add a Nav block
  3. Switch to it’s Modal Animated Trigger settings
  4. Add a size
  5. Notice there is no unit specifier available

Note: The other Size fields all have units available in the panels below

Thank you for sharing your feedback on this.

This isn’t a bug per say but a deliberate omission.

To clarify, the animated hamburger icon has a specific underlying logic that determines how its lines are calculated in order to facilitate the smooth transition between animations.
So we would have to add a layer of complexity to the logic by allowing to specify a unit.

So unfortunately, at present, it is not possible to customise the unit.
However, we may consider adding this feature in the future.

So as a workaround, I would suggest for you to stick to the unanimated hamburger toggle.
