We recently imported the Karl Header from the design library. Some of the styles included are background colours for the menu links on hover and rounded corner radii.
When checking the Cwicly block properties for the Menu block (both Main and Sub), it is not clear where these styles are coming from. There doesn’t appear to be a stylesheet, global styles, custom css or block level css overrides for these.
Please can someone explain where these styles are located and the correct way to remove / override them.
@Marius There is no background specified and yet they are there, which is why I wrote the post.
Logically, the background is probably being applied to the a tag directly - perhaps there is a relative style being applied? I unfortunately don’t have time to track this down right now as we are on a deadline, so I am hoping @Louis or @Araminta can comment on exactly how the main a tag styles were added to Karl Header, so I can quickly change them.
Sorry to hear you’re experiencing trouble with this.
As @Marius rightly stated, the background colour is being applied on hover from the Main menu > Items tab.
So be sure to check in the Items tab and not Colors tab.
The fog has lifted, items is where all the action was happening. In my haste I didn’t notice the additional layer of nesting in the UI.
@Marius. Because of the open pseudo dropdown in your screenshot covering the UI a bit, I didn’t realise you were pointing out the Items tab, I appreciate your response.
