Standard World Icon Not Displaying?

Hi there,

I’m not sure if this is a bug or an intended feature, but I can’t display the default world icon.

And yes, selecting any symbol from the list (even the world icon) is fine! It took me over an hour to realise that this was the case, since I actually wanted the world symbol. So this was a pretty bad experience. :smiling_face_with_tear:

I’m not sure if this is new or has always been the case, but I would prefer it if the world icon was actually set as the default or if the icon selection status was turned off until one selects an icon that works.

Here some info on the setup without selecting an icon:

I have a heading (reference) and an icon in my template. Everything is fine in the backend, but in the frontend the default world icon is not displayed.

Thank you @Louis
I am always amazed at how fast cwicly moves.

In the new version, the icon symbol only lights up blue (active) when an icon has been selected, which fits in nicely with the general UI of cwicly.

As reference the image below: left is old, center is new and right is new in the active state.
