Was thinking the workflow for the repeater could be improved.
Firstly, is it possible to restrict the available fields to just ACF repeaters in the Source tab? At the moment, it shows everything. Not a major deal, but would speed things up a little.
Next is that once the source is set, if there’s no data to pull from, then the block basically locks down. Nothing further can be added
It works fine once there’s a post/page that’s displayed using the Dynamic Preview.
This isn’t always ideal or possible, if you’re building out the structure with templates and ACF fields before content gets added.
I understand it’s a safeguard to stop users from setting up the repeater incorrectly, but I feel there needs to be a little bit more freedom here.
I believe Queries suffer from a similar issue.
Anyhow, just a thought.
