How can I open a popover from a regular wordpress menu link?

It isn’t currently possible to open a Popover from a WordPress menu link, as the popover needs a target to be triggered from and the overall logic might be too intricate to implement.
Depending on your needs, have you explored the possibility of using a Nav block with a Nav menu block?
