I have a Nav element with a search icon at the end.
In the preview it shows placeholder text vs real site outputs only the icon (which is what I want)
How can I just have the icon in the editor without placeholder text showing?

If you don’t require any text and only desire an icon block, I would recommend removing the “search” navigation link.
Instead, you could directly include an icon block within the Nav block.
By doing so, no placeholder text would be displayed in the editor.
Please note that if you wish to retain the navigation link styling, this approach may not be ideal.
