Hierarchical term query causes query template to break

1.Add a query block and set it to TERM.
2.Sellect Decendants
3.Toggle Hierarchical

This causes query template block to break.
Dissabling this toggle does not recover the broken query template block.

Indeed, I have been able to reproduce this issue on my end and can confirm it is a bug.​
