Frontend: content is displayed twice

Description:

Website: http://cwcl.pur-plan.com/

I made a fresh install.
All contents (posts and pages) are displayed twice.

I reinstalled Wordpress and reset the template “Index” but the issue continues.

Environment info

  • WordPress version: 5.9.3
  • Gutenberg Plugin version: not installed
  • Cwicly Plugin version: 1.1.1.1
  • Cwicly Theme version: 1.0.3

Hello @weedor,

Apologies for the trouble you’re experiencing.
This is certainly unusual.

When looking at your page, it seems like there are two Post Content blocks that are being used to display your content.

Are you sure this isn’t the case on the template you are using?

Thanks!

Hi @Louis,

This is a fresh install from scratch.
I checked the template: it is native.
I will delete all (Wordpress) and reinstall again.
If the issue runs again after that, I will give you an access to backend.

Thank for your concern.
I will keep you in touch.

Hi @Louis,
I installed a fresh Wordpress:

  • deleted all the tables
  • deleted all the files
  • uploaded Wordpress
  • reinstalled Wordpress
  • activated only Cwicly theme and plugin
    The issue is back again.

Thanks @weedor,

I’ll take a look right now.

Don’t hesitate to change everything you need.
Thank you very much,
Bruno

Hi @weedor,

I went into the template editor and saved the index template.
This seems to fix the issue.
Had you done this or simply tried regenerating the HTML?

I will try and reproduce the whole process on my side and get back to you.
Thanks for the report

I only regenerate HTML.
I didn’t reset the template.

Thank’s you,
Bruno

The regenerating should have done it. So definitely something to check up on our side.
Thanks!

Just another info:
I have just install a new website from scratch and I got the same issue.
I made the correction that you have done (edit and save template) and the issue went away.
