Critical error when trying to use acf post object as link in repeater

Hi WordPress is throwing a critical error when I try to add a link from a post object to a repeater field.

The Error:

With this no page of the website would load anymore and displays the same error. I can still access the whole backend.

I created a ACF Group with a repeater and added image, text and an post object to it.

ACF Repeater “Home”

  • home_icon (image)
  • home_name (text)
  • home_link (post object)

this is all located to a page that equals home still in ACF

now on the page home I am able to add fields to the ACF home group.

Now I create the following in a template

Link the Heading to the ACF Repeater with a location of Post ID and set the header to dynamic content and choosing the name field.

The repeater will be displaying all three names correctly. Now when I am trying to set the link from the post object, activate the link and save the page will throw the error. Deactivating the link removes the error.

If more information is needed please let me know.

Tested on clean WordPress install!

  • WordPress version: 6.1.1
  • Cwicly Plugin version:
  • Cwicly Theme version: 1.0.3

Hi @T-low,

Thanks for taking the time to report this!
This should be fixed in after an HTML regeneration/specific post save.

If you still experience trouble with this, please let me know by replying to this thread.
