Creating a span in Gutenberg paragraph or heading quits the editor

Hi,

When selecting text in a Gutenberg’s paragraph or heading block and converting it into a span, create button quits the page and goes back to WP posts list (/admin/edit.php).

(It is OK with Cwicly’s paragraph and header blocks.)

Hello @yankiara,

Thanks for the report.
In fact, the span format is normally reserved to Cwicly blocks and should not be appearing there.
Is this something you would see yourself using on normal blocks?

Well, not sure, it’s pretty easy to switch a block to Cwicly anyway.

And maybe it’s a good thing to prevent clients to use it when writing posts with Gutenberg :wink:

Hi @yankiara,

Thank you once again for this report.

We have removed this format from non-Cwicly blocks in 1.2.9.5.7 as a relative styling rule is necessary in most cases, and would only cause confusion further down the line.
