Create Component

Hi All
if i create a component from any element my page wants me to save the “changes”…is this normal, i havent changed something…or doe we change anything on the page while creating a compontent as a one way action…

Converting any content into a component removes that content and inserts the component into the page, thereby signifying a change to the page contents.
