Copy RS selectors

Kind of related to this recent topic.

Copying a selector with keyboard shortcut from the Relative Styling modal will copy the block instead

Hi @Marius,

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing trouble with this.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to reproduce this error on my side, as it copies the selector as expected (tested in multiple browsers in the site & post editor).

Might you be on an older version of Cwicly?

To further investigate this, I have created a demo instance.
Please login with this and see the RS test page.

Feel free to change it to how you have set it up on your installation, to see if the error is reproducible.

Hey @Araminta.

Thanks a lot for your quick feedback.

I can confirm that this issue doesn’t occur on the test installation.
Sorry for not being more detailed - yes, everything is up to date.

I will check things closer in the coming days, so I’d appreciate if you could keep this installation active until then. Will update here asap.

Thanks again.

Hey @Araminta.

I was able to reproduce it on the test installation.
It happens inside the Site Editor with any nested block.

Hello @Marius,

Thanks for the report.
Could you possibly check if this is still happening for you in 1.2.9.6?
I wasn’t able to reproduce it unfortunately and would be grateful to know if it still an issue.

Thanks in advance.

Hey @Louis.

This now happens with the latest version, without any conditions, in the post and site editor.
Double checked it with the beta, everything is fine there, except this particular issue:

It also seems that this doesn’t only happen with the keyboard shortcut but also when copying via browsers’ context menu.
So my current workaround doesn’t work either anymore.
But I can’t say if this related to the recent update.

Hello @Marius,

Thanks for bringing this up.
Unfortunately, we are aware of the issue and will have a fix in the next update.
As for the specific issue you were experiencing precedently, I’m still looking for a way to reproduce it on my side.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Cheers,

Thanks for the update and confirmation @Louis.
I had the impression that @Araminta was able to reproduce it, since she confirmed it.

I’m fine with it as long as I can get my workaround back :upside_down_face:

Thank you for taking the time to report this, @Marius.

This should now be fixed with 1.2.9.8.2.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you experience any more trouble with this, by responding to this thread.
