Ability to pause video when a modal is closed

I think this feature will be useful if people like me that uses a popup modal for a video play. Currently when the modal is closed, the video will still play as you can hear the video sound in the background.

Thanks for the suggestion. Indeed, this was missing from the modal and we have added it to automatically stop all videos on modal close.

Hi,

It doesn’t seem to “fully” work for me:

  • With autoplay ON, video starts again after a few seconds when modal is closed :frowning:

  • With autoplay OFF, it is OK, but the visitor has to click the play button, so it is not very usable in some use cases.

Note that when using a lightbox action link, there is no such issue and video doesn’t restart.

But sometimes we need a specific layout or other content apart from the video and we need to use a modal instead.
