I welcome all the changes, but the removing click/drag feature from the current way. I actually love the current one.

With this new one: click, click, click to enter a value. But, with the current one, I can enter the value directly with a single click or click/drag to get the desired value.

I don’t understand why it should be the long way. It’s a step backwards in terms of UX.

Have I not seen it correctly in the video?

Edit: I’m talking about spacing values. I always set to rem units, so it makes the whole process of spacing things out very efficient.

Something to also consider in regards to custom classes. It would be lovely that when an element has a custom class that anytime you click on that element all styling is applied to the custom class by default. Maybe even the option to add a prompt when an element has a custom class, warning you that you are styling at the ID level; you have to approve it by a popup prompt or no prompt just tick a box or click a lock icon. Something of the like. Just thinking out loud.

Add a keyboard shortcut when entering margin and padding values
alt (option)+enter – to enter opposite values
shift+enter – to enter all values

so that you can enter 2rem, press alt (option)+enter and get the same values on the left and right in the required units

Please take your time  because good things take time and please ignore bad behaviour from the community.
All you need to know is that we are behind you

Removing the primary tab is certainly an improvement. I personally liked the icons, but I can see how the panels is a step in the right direction. The new margin/padding properties input looks really good. Excited to try out this new interface.

Thank you so much for all your efforts @Louis.
I really like this kind of progress update, so I’m happy to see there are plans to continue it as a series.

Just a very small thing.

Wouldn’t this also make sense for the position property?

Hello everyone,

Just a very quick update to say that we’re still working through all the changes I mentioned in the video. It’s taking a bit more time than expected but it’s all coming together nicely.

We might release this as a quick beta for some feedback etc.

Thanks for your patience

Thank you @Abdulmuluq, @bmc38119 and @marc.

I think that we’re close to having the beta ready by the end of the week or beginning of next week.

The modified properties overview won’t make it as we’re still working on the way to display/work with the properties.

Your feedback will be very welcome!
I am most appreciating the ability to search and filter out properties I use rarely, so I can’t wait to see how it works out for you.
